Today we would like to tell you the story about the destination wedding (through the wonderful photos of I Do Wed), the marriage of Anya & Chris who got married at Villa Petrobelli on a beautiful sunny day.
We really loved this beautiful English couple who chose to celebrate their most special day here in Italy, at Villa Petrobelli, with the people most dear to them.
It is always a great pleasure to meet the expectations (and often exceed them!) of our foreign guests, who remain extremely satisfied in particular with our catering service and our kitchen, something of which we are obviously very proud, making the couple even more happy with the choice made!
They were looking for a rustic and green venue where they could celebrate in joy and certainly the spaces of this beautiful villa in Bertipaglia (Padua) were perfect for them. They wanted a simple and tidy reception, a cheerful party, good food and excellent wine and we are really happy to have satisfied them!
In this case they were followed for all aspects concerning the organization of the wedding, being a couple who lived abroad and therefore did not have the possibility to search for suppliers or find the right information.
This is what we like to do for our foreign customers with our destination wedding service, to offer a personalized service, starting from what their desires and actual needs are, taking care of the aspects that for them, given the distance, would be more difficult to follow and trying to best interpret their taste.

“We were nervous about organising a wedding in Italy as we really didn’t know any local businesses and could not rely on recommendations from friends.
Meeting Cecilia on one of our visits to one of Padova’s many beautiful villas changed all of that. Cecilia is clearly hugely experienced, both in terms of doing her job as a caterer but also in managing the excitement and nervousness of the couple. She speaks perfect English (a relief for Chris with his terrible Italian) and was so knowledgeable, responsive and helpful, that she quickly went from being our caterer to almost becoming our wedding planner. She gave us advice, helped to organise our florist and last minute communications with our band, all within the original quote for the catering service.
In the run up to the wedding she listened carefully to the things that were really important to us and made sure they were incorporated into our day (the British speeches, Ukrainian vodka toasts and our symbolic ceremony), all the while giving us helpful advice to keep the day running smoothly.
The result was the best day of our lives. Cecilia and her team were incredibly discreet during the day. Always there to make sure people have full glasses and full plates, but at the same time remaining in the background to make our day feel completely intimate, a party among friends. The team she assembled all spoke English (very few of our guests speak Italian) and were all completely professional. We were having so much fun that we could not end the party at 1am, so with a small word to her, she extended it to 230am keeping all the staff there to help us dance the night away.
We cannot thank her enough for all her help in the preparation of the wedding. Thinking about the day still makes us smile.
If anyone from the UK is considering a destination wedding, you MUST choose Your Wedding in Villa and Villa Petrobelli. The overall cost for our wedding was slightly less than we would have paid for a far inferior experience in England, but in our budget we managed to have beautiful Italian food, a free bar, a gorgeous venue and a responsive, thoughtful and professional company looking after us. THANK YOU to Cecilia and her team for organising the perfect day.”
