La Mandolina Catering & Banqueting was born in 2001 from the passion of two friends, Olivia Arena and Ilaria De Maria, for good food. In the beginning it was a small bar in a sports center, then – step by step – it grew and today it can count on a group of over 30 employees.
In 2019 we served more than 30,000 people including wedding receptions, coffee breaks, corporate lunches conferences, congresses, private dinners, parties and small events.
For us, catering does not only mean producing food and serving it but it is much more. Because our work is made of passion and imagination, reliability and competence, and above all listening.
In our kitchen as much as possible is handmade (our cookies are exceptional!), we use fresh seasonal products, wines and cheeses come preferably from our territory and from producers who put our same passion into their work.
We look for simplicity and lightness but at the same time curiosity leads us to experiment with new flavors and fragrances. All this because first of all we like to eat and drink well and we are convinced that this pleasure must be the same whether it is a wedding dinner or a business lunch.
We believe that service is one of the keys to our work, nothing can be really good if it is badly served, and for this reason we invest a lot in the selection and training of our dining room staff.
Each event is bespoken, organized, designed and made to measure, just like a tailored suit, making it unique and unforgettable.
We are a beautiful team, in the kitchen there are Paolo, Vittorio, Irene and Cécile, in warehouse there are Adriano and Mirko, our tablecloths are so fragrant because Diana takes care of them, in the office there are Ilaria for everything concerning the catering for business company, Olivia for everything what concerns catering for private person and parties, Barbara to organize your wedding and Cecilia who takes care of foreign clients and communication.
